LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
Hanover Lantern warrants its residential products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and operation for the life of the product while owned by the original purchaser (the “Lifetime Warranty Period”). Upon receipt of proper notification from the original owner, Hanover Lantern will repair, refinish, or replace, at its option, any Hanover Lantern product found to be defective within the Lifetime Warranty Period. Coverage The lifetime warranty offered is intended to cover individual homeowners only. Hanover Lantern products purchased by and installed on properties owned by condominiums, co-ops, governmental agencies, schools, churches or other entities are warranted for three years after date of purchase. Warranty Procedures Warranty claims should be made in writing and submitted to: Warranty Claim Department Exclusions Hanover Lantern’s products are individually hand made. Since each product is unique, small surface variations should be considered normal and are not covered under this Warranty. Weathering of the product finish due to severe climate conditions such as acid rain, salt air, or intense ultraviolet rays of the sun is also considered normal and is not covered under this Warranty. This warranty does not extend to products which, in the opinion of Hanover Lantern, have been subjected to misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, improper installation or application, or negligence in their use, storage, maintenance, transportation or handling. Hanover Lantern shall not be liable or responsible for labor charges or other expenses involved with removal or installation of either the original or replacement product. Limitations and Disclaimers The warranty and remedies set forth above are exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties and remedies, express or implied, in law or in fact, including (but not limited to) the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall Hanover Lantern be responsible for incidental, special, or consequential damages. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty give you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. THIS WARRANTY IS EFFECTIVE FOR PRODUCTS PURCHASED AFTER JUNE 1, 2001. |
