for standard 3" OD fitter. First pick your metal finish-verdigris
patina (VP), mission brown (MB), raw copper (RC), bronze (BR), rustic
brown (RB), satin black (SB), antique brass (AB), antique copper (AC),
pewter (P) or graphite (G), and then pick the glass you want-gold white
iridescent (GW), white opalescent (WO), frosted (F), clear seedy (CS),
off white (OF), cream (CR), tan (TN), rain glass (RN), combination
gold-white/white opalescent (C), and combination cobalt blue/white
opalescent (for pewter finish only). Each Arroyo fixture is custom made
of solid brass just for you. All finishes will darken with age. Shown

The
Arts and Crafts movement of the early 20th century, in reaction to the design
excesses and mass production of the industrial age, emphasized design that was
simple, handcrafted and true to the nature of the materials from which it was
made.
The
creative influences of designers and artisans such as Frank Lloyd Wright, C.R.
Mackintosh, Charles and Henry Greene, Dirk Van Erp, Gustav Stickley and Louis
Comfort Tiffany, established an American art form which embraced organic
architecture, handcrafted furnishings, and fine lighting united in harmonious
style that encouraged a simpler lifestyle and a return to basics.
In
the late 1980's, a Pasadena artisan, who had grown up surrounded by the
"ultimate bungalows" of the Greene brothers, believed that the time
had come again to embrace the design and lifestyle promoted by the Arts and
Crafts movement and created what became "Arroyo Craftsman".
Arroyo

The beauty of our product is
more then skin deep. Our lighting fixtures are made of heavier gauge brass than
is common, giving them a more substantial appearance and increased
durability. The rivets we use on many of our light fixtures provide both
beauty and additional structural integrity. Our glass panels are
installed with both retaining clips and silicone to ensure that they are
secured and won't rattle in the wind.
Our hand applied finishes are
the best in the industry because we take the time to let them
"mature". Our unique verdigris patina is the result of an
intensive three day process resulting in a complex and naturally aged
appearance. All our hand applied metal finishes will continue to mature
and change with time.
